Our Room

Although we had zero budget, a week to produce and edit, limited access to set pieces and props, and only one location to shoot in, I am still very pleased with how this short student film turned out. Directing a film set in a post-apocalyptic world while having access to only one small room was quite a challenge. In order to properly develop the world surrounding the characters, I had to truly transform this office space into a safe bunker while channeling the outside world through items captured within the frame. My favorite part of this production was creating the newspaper backdrop and twisting real and current headlines into dark symbols of the zombie apocalypse.
