About
Winter Asprec (she/her) is a dedicated filmmaker, specializing in Set Design and Directing. She has a number of featurettes under her belt, from horror shorts, to scene recreations, to non-profit documentaries. In 2022, she premiered her documentary Crop Swap LA with the help of her university, CSULA, and support from local art gallery, Hauser & Wirth. In June 2023, she was chosen to direct the university's first international film documenting their contemporary guitar ensemble's concert series held in Yerevan, Armenia. As director, she managed a small crew of CSULA alumni had the privilege and honor of collaborating with UNHCR Armenia, as well as being formally recognized during the ensemble's performance held on World Refugee Day.

When it comes to telling stories, Winter believes deeply in intentionality; authenticity and attention to detail should never be underestimated. As a creative, she is always willing to push herself to new heights and enjoys stretching the limits of her ability to solve problems with creative solutions. Through obtaining her degree in Television, Film, & Media Studies, with a focus on Production, she has developed a profound passion for the art of filmmaking and a sense of belonging in the industry.
