I was hired as a part of a small 3 person crew to create a short documentary for LAUSD Region West to capture the events of their 2nd annual Career and College Day hosted at West Los Angeles College. For this event I was entrusted with a number of duties including cinematographer, camera operator,  writer (for interviews), as well as creating graphics/titles in post. On the day, I enjoyed interacting with a wide range of vendors, LAUSD representatives, and even students looking to pursue a similar path as me which was really inspiring. Under the direction of friend and long-time collaborator Leantae Hankins, we documented both the exchange of knowledge and support for graduation seniors preparing to embark on an educational and career journey of their own. It was during this project where I had the motivation to teach myself a new skill, designing and animating lower thirds and title cards in Adobe After Effects, that I intend to continue exercising in the future.
